SecuGen Announces Its Membership in the Microsoft Certified Partner Program

Fingerprint security is now available from SecuGen as "plug and play".

Milpitas, CA (July 16, 2002) - SecuGen Corporation, one of the world's leading providers of biometric fingerprint recognition systems, today announced it is a new member in the Microsoft Certified Partner Program. As a Microsoft Certified Partner, SecuGen offers a "Designed for Microsoft Windows XP" approved USB fingerprint scanner that is "plug and play". Users can now download a device driver from Microsoft's Windows Update web site. A future Windows XP Service Pack containing the driver will further increase user convenience.

The Microsoft Certified Partner Program allows SecuGen to utilize the Microsoft Certified Partner logo, which is an easy way for customers to recognize SecuGen as certified by Microsoft Corp. Microsoft offers a variety of resources to program members, including training, technical support, early access to Microsoft products and peer-networking opportunities that allow a variety of partners to come together and provide end-to-end customer solutions.
