Code Access integrates SecuGen® biometric technology to provide its customers with a superior level of security
San Jose, CA (September 12, 2000) - SecuGen Corporation, a leading global developer, manufacturer and supplier of biometric fingerprint imaging systems and devices, has been selected by Code Access, Inc. to provide its state-of-the-art fingerprint recognition technology for the company's newest fingerprint reader, the CAS-2000. SecuGen's Fingerprint Recognition Module combines biometric technology with a superior minutiae-based encryption algorithm. Biometric technology automatically recognizes an individual based on his or her physical characteristics, while the algorithm software provides unmatched levels of security by encrypting and storing fingerprint template data in a file that isn't linked to any personal data on the PC or information system.
